If You Just Keep Writing, You’ll Get There…

Have you felt like quitting on writing lately?

Maybe you’ve just started that book you’ve been excited to write, and feel overwhelmed with how big finishing this project seems. Or maybe you’re halfway through a first draft of your book – in the messy middle – and it’s starting to look impossible to make sense of it.

If that’s how you’ve felt lately, you’re not alone.

Every book I’ve written, I’ve felt like quitting at one point or another. Either the beginning would seem too overwhelming, the middle was too confusing, or as I neared the end, I struggled with finishing for fear of getting it out into the public where my words might be criticized or be rejected by readers.

I want to encourage you today, that even though some type of fear is continually with us as writers, that as you continue to write, you learn strategies on how to push past the fears that hold you back from finishing your book.

That’s something I’ve continued to learn ever since I began blogging and writing books six years ago. There are strategies that I’ve learned to continue to grow my writing practice, which has also helped give me the confidence I need to push past my fears to make “finishing” a regular practice in my life.

If you would like to learn strategies and simple steps that have helped me finish my books – simple steps that I’m confident will help you too… click here to join the free mini-course email series The Storyteller’s Roadmap.

You can continue to push past fears and resistance to write and finish your book(s). You can turn an overwhelming project, into simple steps that you can finish within the time frame you’ve set.

You can reach your writing dreams 🙂

What part of writing and/or finishing your book project do you struggle with the most?  Please do share in the comments, I’d love to hear from you!
